Welcome to All Saints Catholic Academy Admissions!
I am thrilled that you have taken the time to learn more about us and all that we have to offer your child. Ours is a school that draws students from over fourteen different zip codes; and yet, we maintain our close-knit community by fostering close relationships with our students and families. As a Catholic school, we inspire in our students a love of Christ, a dedication to service and a strong desire to learn. As an independent school, we receive our educational accreditation through The New England Association of Schools and Colleges. This allows the school to maintain its stellar academics while using performance measures that compare our students nationally with their peers. As evidenced by our yearly published results, we are very fortunate to enjoy this privilege, as it allows our students every possible opportunity to learn and grow.
While our expanding web site will give you a general overview, I encourage you to come for a visit. See for yourself our sprawling campus, complete with playgrounds for our pre-kindergarten and older students, several athletic fields, and nature trail. Our bright and inviting classrooms offer plenty of natural light, updated and maintained supplies for our students, a quiet and peaceful chapel for reflection and prayer, a fully functional space for physical education, an art room with specialized supplies and tools, and a library with thousands of titles for student use. On any given day, you will observe our students and faculty hard at work in all the major content areas, including French instruction, choral music, concert and marching band, and art creation with our own artist-in-residence.
Together my Vice Principal and I happily conduct all tours for parents and provide plenty of time for a thorough question-and-answer session. It is important during these initial stages for parents to meet with us without the prospective student. This allows our conversation to be candid, focused and direct. It also allows us the opportunity to fully understand the goals you have for your child. Once your student applies for admission, he or she is invited to spend a portion or all (depending on the age of the student) of the day here at our school. While visiting, your child will engage in a typical day, enjoying class time, snack, out-of-class specials, and informal assessments to gauge placement readiness. It is necessary for your child to experience the school, teachers and peers, as we know that children perform best when they understand their environment and what is expected of them. A visit allows the child to develop a better understanding as to what it’s like to be a Bishop Marshall student, even if for just a half or full day. The admission team will meet to review the day and inform families of the school’s determination by means of a letter or phone call.
I am incredibly proud of the work done at our school and I sincerely look forward to helping you learn more about how a Bishop Marshall education fits with the academic, spiritual, and personal goals you have for your child. Please take a moment to call the school to schedule a visit with me so I can show you all our school has to offer!
Sincerely,
Carrie Wilson
