Welcome Letter From Our Head of School

Welcome to All Saints Catholic Academy!

My name is Carrie Wilson and I work as the Head of All Saints Catholic Academy.  I have held a variety of positions during my tenure. As an original member of the first teaching faculty, I have worked as both a first and third grade teacher and began assuming additional administrative tasks in 2006 as the Coordinator of Students Services and the chair of the school accreditation task force.  In 2007, I accepted the Head of School position and have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunities this position has granted. I feel fortunate to experience this school in so many capacities: teacher, administrator, and parent of two alumni. My husband and I reside in Jericho with our two children and our sweet black lab, Wynn.

I am thrilled that you have taken the time to learn more about us and all that we have to offer your child.  Ours is a school that draws students from over fourteen different zip codes; and yet, we maintain our close-knit community by fostering close relationships with our students and families.  As a Catholic school, we inspire in our students a love of Christ, a dedication to service, and a strong desire to learn. As an independent school, we receive our educational accreditation through The New England Association of Schools and Colleges. As a Catholic school, we work collaboratively with the Diocese of Burlington to provide our students with the foundation upon which to build their learning, rich in faith, hope, and charity.

Unique to our school is our student-to-teacher ratio and our ability to differentiate according to each individual’s needs.  Our intimate classroom setting allows teachers to fully understand each child’s learning style – strengths and areas requiring additional support.  The partnership between school and home is vital to the success of our program and we rely on strong communication to accomplish this.

While our expanding web site will give you a general overview, I encourage you to come for a visit.  See for yourself our sprawling campus, complete with playgrounds for our pre-kindergarten and older students, several athletic fields, and nature trail.  Our bright and inviting classrooms offer plenty of natural light, updated and maintained supplies for our students, a quiet and peaceful chapel for reflection and prayer, a functional space for physical education, an art room with specialized supplies and tools, a multi-media center with thousands of book titles for student use and iMac computers for research and projects. On any given day, you will observe our students and faculty hard at work in all the major content areas, including French instruction, choral music, concert and marching band, comprehensive athletic participation, and art creation with our own artist-in-residence.

I am incredibly proud of the work done at our school and I sincerely look forward to helping you learn more about how a Bishop Marshall education fits with the academic, spiritual, and personal goals you have for your child.  Please take a moment to call the school to schedule a visit with me so I can show you all our school has to offer!

Sincerely,

Carrie Wilson
