Sierra Williams

STEAM Teacher

I began teaching in 2020, though my passion for education began long before. Throughout high school and college I would spend my summers as a counselor at a camp for girls from low-income and foster homes. This sparked my interest in trauma-informed care in education, and after graduating from Johnson State College in 2017 I began working at Laraway Youth and Family Services. In 2019 I began a Masters program in Curriculum and Instruction at Northern Vermont University, and went on to teach science at Lamoille Union Middle School. What excites me about teaching science is that it empowers students to participate in experiential learning, inquiry, and discovery. I am eager to develop a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) program at All Saints Catholic Academy that inspires creativity and innovation in all students.
