All Saints Catholic Academy is thrilled to welcome a new student in the upper-school, Jessica Colbeth of Morrisville! In no time at all, Jessica has nestled into her class and every time I see her bumbling around the building she is sporting a genuine and contagious smile.
Jessica is the 127th student enrolled at All Saints Catholic Academy this year. Our hope is to welcome 6 more students into the All Saints Catholic Academy family before the end of the year to end at 133 by June – thanks to everyone who is helping All Saints Catholic Academy grow! You can read more about that effort here.
Now back to Jessica. I was able to catch her in between classes and here are a few tidbits you should know:
What grade are you in?
I am in 7th Grade.
What town do you live in?
I live in Morrisville.
What are your hobbies and/or interests?
My favorite sport is definitely soccer. I played as a forward this year for All Saints Catholic Academy and had a lot of fun. I’ve been playing soccer seriously since 3rd grade but have been kicking a soccer ball since I was in Pre-K. I’m hoping to play for Far Post next year. I am just starting up the basketball season and am playing for PA. We practice at 6AM all season long. I was moved up to the 8th grade team and am looking forward to games.
What is you favorite cartoon?
As a kid growing up, my favorite cartoon was definitely Caillou. I love it!
If you found $100 bill on the ground, how would you spend it?
I would save most of it for college and put a few dollars toward myself.
What is your favorite subject?
I like math because of the ongoing challenge plus it comes naturally to me. My dad has a real math brain and was doing 11th grade math when he was in 8th grade. Math is very applicable to life and the real world.
What about All Saints Catholic Academy do you enjoy most?
I would probably say the student and teachers. They are all really nice and welcoming. There isn’t a lot of drama. You feel special just to be here. You get new opportunities all the time – sometimes when you don’t even want them – and it challenges you plus you may find out new things you like.
So there is a little info on our new friend Jessica. Please be sure to say, “Hi!” and introduce yourself when you see her around campus.
